French’s Hauling and Junk Removal (“we”) operates frenchsjunkremoval.com. This policy explains what we collect when you use the site and what we do with it. Short version: we collect what you give us to quote a job, and we don’t sell it.
What we collect
- Quote requests: your name, phone number, email, address or town, and the description of the job you type into the quote form or text to us.
- Dumpster rental agreements: the details you enter on the online rental agreement (name, phone, email, delivery address, dates, notes), your typed name and drawn signature, and the date, time, IP address and browser you signed from, kept as a record of the agreement.
- Basic usage data: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time) for security and troubleshooting, and our security service screens traffic to block attacks.
- Analytics: we use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It sets cookies and collects information such as pages viewed, approximate location, and device type. You can opt out with Google’s browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.
- Cookies: the site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Our security plugin may set a functional cookie to block automated attacks.
How we use it
To respond to your request, quote and schedule the job, invoice you, and follow up about that job. We may text or call the number you provide for those purposes. We do not send marketing messages unless you ask for them.
Who sees it
Only French’s Hauling and the service providers that run this site for us (web hosting, a content delivery network that serves the site’s images and files, the email delivery service, Google Analytics, and our web developer, Peace Builders). We do not sell or rent your information, and we share it only when required by law.
How long we keep it
Quote and job records are kept as long as needed for bookkeeping and tax purposes, then deleted. You can ask us to delete your contact information at any time.
